Check-in and check-out
Check-in from 2:00 p.m. and check-out by 11:00 a.m. Reception is open 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; arriving later is possible only if arranged in advance.
Deposit and cancellation
When you book you pay the first night of each room as a deposit, excluding VAT. Direct bookings: 6 calendar days or more before arrival you choose between a refund of the deposit less a 5% handling fee or a 100% credit for another date, subject to availability; 5 calendar days or less, there is no refund or change and the deposit is lost.
ON THE SEAFRONT, IN PALOMINO
Makao Beach Hotel is at Calle 8, Lote 3, on the seafront, in Palomino, La Guajira. From the Troncal del Caribe, when you reach Palomino, pass Calle 6A and take the next street, beside the gas station, which leads to the hotel. There is no private car park: parking is free on the dead-end street that reaches the hotel, watched by cameras.
